The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra
Triptych is a proud sponsor of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. With a reputation for excellence, versatility and innovation the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is Australia's internationally-acclaimed and oldest orchestra, having celebrated its centenary thoughout 2007. With headquaters only 100 metres away, we are thrilled to contribute support to our neighbour, who each year performs to more than 250,000 people in Melbourne and regional Victoria, at events ranging from the annual series of Sidney Myer Free Concerts in the Sidney Myer Music Bowl to the series of Classic Kids concerts for young children.
The Alfred Hospital
In July 2008 Triptych sponsored the Alfred Hospital via purchase of a table at their annual fundraising function, this year aptly called the Golden Hour Ball, raising money for their trauma centre. The Alfred, located just 3km away from Triptych, is the best equipped hospital to respond successfully to major trauma with positive outcomes in the 'golden hour' or the first crucial 60 minutes after a major trauma, and is our closest neighboring hospital. We were also proud to purchase a core thermometer from the 'Doctor's Wishlish' and donated it to the hospital, and donated an autographed rash vest as worn by 7 times woman's surfing world champion Layne Beachley for their annual silent auction. This event was a great success with project consultants and purchasers alike enjoying a lovely night in support of our local community.
